Facilities at Hornsey
Like all Manatee Audio studios, Hornsey is rented on a dry-hire basis. You get the room, the acoustic treatment, and the keys — your gear stays in the room between sessions.
The building has fibre-optic broadband, CCTV, a monitored alarm, intercom system, parking, and a communal lounge with kitchen.
Monthly contracts with a 2-month notice period give you flexibility without tying you into an indefinite commitment.

The Hornsey Space
Hornsey is a smaller complex than Finsbury Park – six studios rather than seventeen, which gives it a quieter, more focused atmosphere. The rooms vary in size from compact writing suites to larger tracking spaces, and several benefit from windows, which is genuinely unusual for purpose-built studio accommodation in London.
The building sits on Cross Lane, a short walk from Hornsey High Street and the independent shops, cafés, and pubs of Crouch End. It’s a part of North London that’s held onto its neighbourhood feel — useful if you’re spending long days in the studio and want somewhere decent to eat or take a break without getting in a car or on a tube.
The studios are acoustically treated and are let unfurnished – you configure the space to suit your workflow. Most tenants bring their own desk, monitors, outboard, and instruments, and leave them permanently in the room. The 24-hour access and long-term contract model means the room becomes your room, not a shared booking.
Rates and availability
Studios are available from £600–£1,500/month. Contracts run from 4 to 24 months with a 2-month notice period.
Getting here
Hornsey rail station is a few minutes’ walk with regular services into Moorgate and London Bridge. Alexandra Palace Overground is also nearby. Restaurants and bars are within two minutes’ walk, and Crouch End High Street is a ten-minute walk away. There is limited parking on site and on-street parking is available on Cross Lane and surrounding roads.
